Supported Platforms
Using EPO Server Deployment
The EPO Server can push the McAfee Clients with client tasks or by manually triggering a one time deploy from the console. The deployment works well for systems that do not have a previous installation. It also works fairly well at upgrading. At times the upgrade will fail and it's usually because there are previous versions installed on the guest that pointed to retired EPO Server for communication. In those cases a reinstall is the usually fixes the issue. This means uninstalling and installing the clients on the system. The deployment task from the EPO Server does not have a reinstall option. It simply has does an install or inplace upgrade.

Macbook Manual
Hello, I'm trying to find some more information on getting our ePO server to see our Mac clients as managed objects. There was an install dmg file that was created for previous versions of OSX, but will not install on Lion. I have the new version of the McAfee Security (VirsScan9.1) but I cannot figure out how to get this to communicate with ePO. Google searches have come up empty as well. Once I get this working, I can use Casper to deploy to my Mac OSX clients. Any help on this will be helpful! Thanks!
